Alignment
A disciple of chaos must possess a chaotic alignment.
This replaces the monk’s alignment requirement.
Combat Training
A disciple of chaos may combine combat spheres and talents to create powerful martial techniques. Disciples of chaos are considered Adept combatants and use the higher of their Charisma or Wisdom as their practitioner modifier.
This replaces bonus feats.
Dedication of Will
At 1st level a disciple of chaos chooses either Charisma or Wisdom. All monk class features use the chosen ability score to calculate their effects.
Deluge of Strikes
At 1st level the disciple of chaos gains the Open Hand sphere and the Rippling Blow talent as bonus talents.
This replaces flurry of blows
Primordial Blow
At 1st level the disciple of chaos gains the Elemental MightRW feat as a bonus feat. The disciple of chaos may spend 1 ki point in place of his martial focus when activating this feat.
At 4th level, whenever the disciple of chaos would expend their martial focus (or spend 1 ki point in place of their martial focus) to add additional damage to an attack action, they add an additional +1d6 damage of the chosen energy type, +1d6 per 4 levels past 4th.
This replaces stunning fist.
Ki Pool
At 10th level the disciple of chaos treats his unarmed strikes as chaotic weapons for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction.
This alters the ki pool class feature, replacing the ability to treat unarmed strikes as lawful weapons at 10th level.
Practiced Anger
At 3rd level the disciple of chaos may spend 1 ki point as a free action to enter rage as a barbarian of his level. This rage lasts a number of rounds equal to the disciple of chaos’s practitioner modifier (minimum 1). The disciple of chaos treats his class level as his barbarian level when qualifying for feats, prerequisites, and determining the effects of his rage.
Sidebar: Ki Powers and Raging
The barbarian’s rage normally prevents abilities that require “patience or concentration”. Ki powers do not technically require either although some GMs might limit a barbarian from using their ki powers during a rage; if so, the practiced anger class feature allows you to use ki powers while raging if you could not already.
Mercurial Body
At 3rd level the disciple of chaos gains a +2 bonus to AC, CMD, and on any saving throw against attacks or effects that inflict the dazed, entangled, grappled, petrified, or stunned conditions.
This alters still mind.
Rage Power
At 4th level the disciple of chaos gains one rage power he qualifies for, treating his class level as his barbarian level when qualifying for feats, prerequisites, and determining the effects of rage powers. Whenever a disciple of chaos gains a ki power, they may select a rage power in its place.
This replaces the ki power gained at 4th level. The disciple of chaos is still treated as possessing the ki power class feature at 4th level and may take the Extra Ki Power feat as normal.
Style Strike
At 5th level, whenever a disciple of chaos performs an attack action modified by the Rippling Blow talent, he may treat that attack action as a style strike.
This alters style strike
Unfettered Form
At 19th level, a disciple of chaos gains total control over his physical form. Whenever he attempts a saving throw against an effect that would prohibit his actions, movement, consciousness, or would alter his form, he can roll twice and take the better result. This includes conditions such as dazed, magical sleep, staggered, entangled, polymorph or similar effects. If he fails a saving throw against such an effect and that effect has a duration longer than 1 hour, the disciple of chaos can attempt a new saving throw at the end of each hour to end the effect.
This ability replaces flawless mind.
Perfect Self
At 20th level, a disciple of chaos becomes a magical creature. He is forevermore treated as an outsider rather than a humanoid (or whatever his original creature type was) for the purpose of spells and magical effects. Additionally, the disciple of chaos gains damage reduction 10/lawful, which allows him to ignore the first 10 points of damage from any attack made by a non-lawful weapon. Unlike other outsiders, the disciple of chaos can still be brought back from the dead as if he were a member of his previous creature type. Finally, the disciple of chaos gains the ability to enter a state of unfettered anger. During this time, the disciple of chaos can take no actions besides sundering unattended objects, but he does regain ki at the rate of 1 point per 10 minutes spent in this manner. He cannot use this ability to gain an amount of ki in excess of his maximum.
This ability alters perfect self.
