Diamond Spheres: Hustle & Bustle
Spheres
Body Control
The following parts of the Body Control sphere have been changed:
- Meditate can be adopted as a swift OR move action, and dismissed as a free action usable outside of turn.
- Maintain Stamina is now its own talent (and merged with Push Through); you choose one (control) talent of your choice when you gain the base sphere.
- Breath Control no longer has the control tag and is less reliant on meditate.
- Many (control) talents now have a (clarity) effect (Control Reactions, Intentional Movements, Iron Concentration, Increase Mass)
- Intense Meditation now naturally scales, instead of requiring multiple talents.
- Many talents have received minor improvements (Controlled Sleepwalking, Emotional Restraint, Intentional Movements, Optimal Recovery, Regain Senses, Shake It Off, Staunch Wounds, Steel Skin, Stony Demeanor, Incredible Flexibility)
- Poison Manipulation changed to Affliction Manipulation; now expanded to diseases and drugs.
- Push Through has a new effect entirely.
- Reflexive Meditation now has the plan tag.
- Regulate Heat was merged with Temperature Mastery, now has a (clarity) and (contemplation) effect.
- Sleep Mastery changed to Physiological Mastery; now grants benefits with food/water.
- Energetic Touch is more tied to Regulate Heat; no longer a control talent.
- Some (clarity) talents have specific actions required to use them.
- Most uses of 'Escape Artist' changed to 'associated skill'
- Hold Onto Life is now a basic talent with no rank prereq, now has the (clarity) tag as well as some improvements.
- Increase Mass text condensed.
Herbalism
A new herb type has been added: Savory herbs. These are meant to emulate psuedo-metamagic effects (at least design wise) for certain concoctions.
The following concoctions have a savory herb twist: Bewitching Brew, Crimson Coagulant, Energizer, Fortifying Mixture, Metalmind Solution, Serum of Ireful Ardor, Soothing Draught, Vitiating Unguent.
Vocation
Alternate Methods received a minor buff.
The new Specialty tag has brought about the following changes:
- All Adept X talents have gained the (specialty) tag (and had any redundant text changed to reflect it).
- Adept Companion & Adept Naturalist has been removed; its functionalities given to other talents.
- Adept Builder has a unique ability for siege engineer now.
- Adept Gatherer and Adept Handler completely reworked.
- Adept Hunter's Carver and Angler's Acumen abilities improved.
- Adept Trader's Driving Ace and Reserved Inventory abilities improved.
Other
Courser
The Harvest Meat venture now grants the new Meat harvest talent and has been changed to reflect it.
Feats
Cultivate Ki no longer has the Combat tag.
Exceptional Discipline buffed.
Forbidden Consumption Technique changed.
Archetypes
Kung Fu Exemplar has had its talent progression and ki power progression slowed.
Combat Spheres
The Shoulder Roll (Boxing) and Daunting (Gladiator) have received the following text: "You may not use this talent in conjunction with (deflect) talents or any other ability that would grant you an attack or combat maneuver due to a missed attack against you."
Giant Physique (Brute) now scales.
Rippling Blow has received changes.

Updated Blood Sphere Feats
The following Blood sphere feats have been republished or renamed, updating their effects with new synergies for the Blood sphere content found in this book. The following feats have been renamed:
- The Acid Blood (Ultimate Spheres of Power pg. 470) and Burning Blood (Ultimate Spheres of Power pg. 472) feats have been merged into the new Elemental Blood feat.
- The Reservoir feat (Ultimate Spheres of Power pg. 482) has been updated for compatibility with /blood arts.
Updated Blood Sphere Talents
The following Blood sphere talents have been reprinted or renamed, updating their effects with new synergies for the Blood sphere content found in this book. The following talents have been reprinted or renamed:
- Exsanguinating Strike (Ultimate Spheres of Power pg. 238) has been updated.
- Improved Range (Ultimate Spheres of Power pg. 239) has been updated and renamed to Ranged Blood Magic.
- Inject (Ultimate Spheres of Power pg. 239) has been updated.
- Instill Blood Control (Ultimate Spheres of Power pg. 239) has been updated and renamed to Instill Blood Magic.
- Mass Control (Ultimate Spheres of Power pg. 240) has been updated and renamed to Mass Blood Magic.

Death Sphere Talent Errata
- Expanded Necromancy (Ultimate Spheres of Power pg. 268) has been updated and reprinted, replacing the Variant Necromancy feat (Ultimate Spheres of Power pg. 468). Any talents, effects, or class features which referenced the Death sphere Expanded Necromancy talent before this book still function as normal. The Variant Necromancy feat has been removed.
- Greater Ghost Strike (Ultimate Spheres of Power pg. 269) and Mass Reanimate (Ultimate Spheres of Power pg. 270) have been combined and reprinted as the Mass Death Magic talent. The Baleful Storm, Crimson Theurgy, Ghostly Admixture, and Warded Bones feats and wand turret special armor ability now reference the updated Mass Death Magic talent.
- Greater Reanimate (Ultimate Spheres of Power pg. 269) has been updated.
- Lingering Necromancy (Ultimate Spheres of Power pg. 269) and Sustained Reanimation (Ultimate Spheres of Power pg. 270) have been combined and reprinted as the Sustained Necromancy talent. The Death sphere Instill Death and Shroud talents, Greater Undead and Permanent Undead advanced talents, and the Might Of The Grave, Swift Demise, and Warded Bones feats now reference the updated Sustained Necromancy talent.
- Lich Strike (Ultimate Spheres of Power pg. 269) has been updated.
- Ranged Death (Ultimate Spheres of Power pg. 269) has been updated to include the new (dominion) descriptor.

The Beast Tamer's Handbook
The Beast Tamer's Handbook updated a number of talents across different spheres. The changes are not individually documented.
Alteration Sphere
The following sphere talents received updates to their base forms and traits.
- Aquan Transformation (transformation) (Ultimate Spheres of Power pg. 252), updating the base swim speed and the amphibious subtype and swim speed traits.
- Avian Transformation (transformation) (Ultimate Spheres of Power pg. 252), updating the base fly speed.
- Serpentine Transformation (transformation) (Ultimate Spheres of Power pg. 256), updating the death roll trait.
Beastmastery Sphere
The Beastmastery sphere received errata as of the Beast Tamer's Handbook. These changes are primarily to standardize the Beastmastery sphere’s ability scaling to use associated skill ranks where appropriate rather than the practitioner’s base attack bonus.

Feats
Transformation (Ultimate Spheres of Power pg. 487) received an errata, clarifying some interactions and allowing the feat to be taken more than once.
Alternate Racial Traits
The Kitsune alternate racial traits fox guise and human guise (Ultimate Spheres of Power pg. 456) have had their “Special” note removed, as the Transformation feat can now be taken multiple times. They were reprinted in Beast Tamer's for convenience

Elemental Transformation (transformation) (Ultimate Spheres of Power pg. 233); the updated talent also replaces the Elemental Transformation, Dedicated (transformation) talent (Spheres Apocrypha: The Apex Shifter pg. 3), updates the traits offered by the talent, and adds new traits.
Destruction Sphere
Energy Satellite (blast shape) (Ultimate Spheres of Power pg. 275). Quality of life updates (buffs), increased range, option to create multiple at a time.
Classes
The elemental scion shifter (Ultimate Spheres of Power pg. 189) has had their 1st level class feature elemental adept updated.
The Crimson Dancer

The path possession ability of the path of the moroi should be changed to the following: “The moroi’s possession ability is treated as blood control for the purpose of determining save penalties from being less than half hit points.”
Spheres
Blood
The first paragraph of blood control has been altered to remove the text about bleed damage applying a -4 penalty to saving throws against establishing control, and should read as follows: “As a standard action, you may establish a link to the blood of a target within close range. Unwilling targets are permitted a Fortitude save, and the effect is subject to spell resistance. Targets with less than half their maximum hit points take a -4 penalty on this save. This link lasts for as long as you concentrate, though you may spend a spell point for it to last 1 round per caster level without concentration.”
The Arrest Flow talent has been replaced by the Cardiovascular Ascension talent.
Crimson Vortex has been altered and reprinted. (pg 18)
The Inject talent should replace the following text from the 1st paragraph, “A marked creature is treated as though it were bleeding” with “A marked creature is treated as though it had less than half its maximum hit points remaining” and the following text from the 2nd paragraph “though they do not take the save penalty for bleeding or being below 1/2 their maximum hit points.” with “ “though they do not take the save penalty for being below 1/2 their maximum hit points.”
The final paragraph of Red Mist should read as follows: “If you choose to take 1 Constitution damage when using this talent, you may treat all creatures within the mist as if they were below half their maximum hit points for the purpose of the save penalty on any instance of blood control targeting such a creature.”
Duelist
Blooded strike has been changed to read as follows: “Whenever you use the attack action or an attack of opportunity to attack or disarm a creature, you deal an additional 1 point of bleed damage to the target on a successful attempt, +1 for every 3 points of base attack bonus you possess; this stacks with any other bleed damage you are capable of dealing. Practitioners of the Duelist sphere never provoke attacks of opportunity when attempting combat maneuvers against a target currently taking bleed damage.”
The section explaining (bleed) talents reads as follows: “Bleed: Some talents have the (bleed) descriptor; these talents are triggered when you deal bleed damage to a creature using your blooded strike. You may only apply the effects of a single (bleed) talent to a given attack. A target that is immune to bleed damage is also immune to all other effects of talents with this descriptor. For the purpose of these talents, only bleed damage you deal with your blooded strike is considered when determining their effects.”

Vacuum Cut has been altered and reprinted (pg 22)
…And Stay Down: The DC of the Acrobatics check is no longer increased by +1 for every point of bleed the target is suffering from. Instead, if the target is suffering from your blooded strike’s bleed damage, they suffer a penalty to their Acrobatics check equal to the bleed damage.
The first sentence of Vacuum Slice should read as follows: “Whenever you use the Vacuum Cut talent, you may spend a move action and your martial focus to increase the effect, targeting all creatures within a close range cone.”
