Proficiencies: Hidden masters are proficient with simple weapons, as well as light armor and bucklers. In addition, if this is this character’s first level in any class, they may select a martial tradition of their choice.
This alters weapon and armor proficiencies.
Skills: The hidden master adds Knowledge (arcana) (Int) and Spellcraft (Int) to his list of class skills, instead of Disable Device (Dex), Knowledge (engineering) (Int), and Survival (Wis). The hidden master gains a number of skill ranks equal to 4 + his Intelligence modifier at each level, instead of 6 + his Intelligence modifier skill ranks.
This alters the vigilante’s class skills and skill ranks per level.
Casting: The hidden master may combine spheres and talents to create magical effects. The hidden master is considered a Mid-Caster and uses Charisma as his casting ability modifier. (Note: All casters gain 2 bonus talents and may select a casting tradition the first time they gain the casting class feature.)
This replaces the vigilante talents gained at 4th, 8th, 10th, 14th, and 18th level.
Spell Pool: The hidden master gains a small reservoir of energy he can call on to create truly wondrous effects, called a spell pool. This pool contains a number of spell points equal to his level + his casting ability modifier (minimum 1). This pool replenishes once per day after roughly 8 hours of rest.
Blended Training: A hidden master gains a magic or combat talent at 2nd level and every 2 levels thereafter. Hidden masters use their casting ability modifier as their practitioner modifier.
Double Life: Whenever a hidden master gains a magic or combat talent from hidden master levels, he may choose two different talents. One is only available in his social identity while the other is only available in his vigilante identity. If he has a martial tradition, he may choose to have that martial tradition only available to one identity and to gain another martial tradition only available in the other. Likewise, he may choose to have different casting traditions in each identity. If one identity has more spell points than the other because their casting tradition grants more bonus spell points, the extra spell points are used last. For example, if a hidden master’s vigilante identity has 6 spell points and his social identity has 8, once he has used 6 spell points he would have 2 available in his social identity and none in his vigilante identity.
A hidden master may use talents only his vigilante identity or only his social identity have available as prerequisites for advanced magic talents, legendary combat talents, or feats, but he cannot use a feat or talent unless he meets the prerequisites in his current identity.
This replaces vigilante specialization. A hidden master cannot select any archetype that replaces dual identity, though he may select one that alters it.
