Kindred keepers build their faith in conjunction with a strong community, drawing upon the insights of their fellows to maintain cohesion and trust in times of strife.
This archetype requires either the sphere cleric or faithful shepherd archetype
Proficiencies
Kindred keepers are proficient with simple weapons, as well as light armor and bucklers. In addition, if this is this character’s first level in any class, she may select a martial tradition of their choice.
This modifies weapon and armor proficiencies.
Trade Tradition
If this is this character’s first level in any class, the kindred keeper may select a trade tradition of their choice, and have a competent trade rank. The kindred keeper gains 2 additional skill ranks per cleric level.
This replaces the cleric’s normal class skills
Blended Training
A kindred keeper gains a magic, combat, or skill talent (some of which are required to be [utility] talents) at the listed levels using the journeyman talent progression.
This replaces magic talents as well as necromantic focus for sphere clerics and either the Life or Protection sphere gained at 1st level for faithful shepherds.
Focused Domain
A kindred keeper selects one fewer domain than normal.
This modifies domains.
Kindred Insights
At 1st level, a kindred keeper gains the Communication sphere and must select Communication Coach as their (rapport) talent. If the creature is part of a community that the kindred keeper is also a member of (such as sharing a common faith, home, or lineage at GM discretion), the kindred keeper is treated as knowing their motivation for the purpose of building a rapport.
Kindred Confluence (Su)
At 4th level, when forming a rapport that uses Communication Coach, the kindred keeper may spend a use of channel energy to share any magic, combat, or skill talent she knows instead of just a talent from the Communication sphere.
At 8th level, the kindred keeper may use Communication Coach to share any talent known by any creature she has a rapport with, not just one she knows. This allows her to share the selected talent with herself.
At 12th level, the kindred keeper’s Communication Coach does not count towards the number of rapport effects that can be applied to the kindred keeper’s rapport (the kindred keeper can still only maintain one instance of Communication Coach at a time). In addition, the kindred keeper may share one additional talent with Communication Coach (to a maximum of 2).
At 16th level, the kindred keeper may share three talents with Communication Coach rather than two. In addition, she may spend a swift action and a use of channel energy to change any talents chosen with Communication Coach.
At 20th level, the kindred keeper may share five talents with Communication Coach.
