Bind Spirit: A pactsworn warpriest may seal pacts with otherworldly entities known as spirits. In order to summon a spirit, the pactsworn warpriest must learn the spirit’s ceremony, constellation, personality, and seal by completing its four Knowledge Tasks; see Researching the Spirit for more information on this process. A pactsworn warpriest begins play having completed all four Knowledge Tasks for one 1st-level spirit of his choice.
Each day, a pactsworn warpriest may bind one spirit to his soul using pact magic; see Performing a Pact Ritual. This spirit’s level may not exceed the pactsworn warpriest’s maximum spirit level, which is limited to 1st-level spirits at 1st level. At 4th level and every three warpriest levels thereafter, the pactsworn warpriest’s maximum spirit level increases by 1, to a maximum of 6th-level spirits at 16th level.
A pactsworn warpriest’s binder level is equal to his level. The DC to resist a pactsworn warpriest’s supernatural powers is equal to 10 + 1/2 the pactsworn warpriest’s binder level + the pactsworn warpriest’s Charisma modifier.
This ability replaces one of the warpriest’s blessings.
Blessings: A pactsworn warpriest only receives one blessing, which must be the occult blessing. If the warpriest worships a deity, he must worship one that grants access to the occult blessing.
This ability replaces sacred weapon.
Diminished Spellcasting: A pactsworn warpriest possesses 1 fewer spell per day at each spell level. If the pactsworn warpriest would receive 0 spells per day, then he or she only receives bonus spells, if any, due to a high Wisdom score.
Occult Fervor (Su): At 2nd level, a pactsworn warpriest can use her fervor to heal a living creature who are bound to a spirit or harm a creature that threatens an ally who is bound to a spirit, regardless of his alignment.
This ability alters fervor.
Sacred Weapon (Su): At 4th level, a pactsworn warpriest gains the sacred weapon class feature, as a warpriest of his level –3. A warpriest cannot use sacred weapon to enhance his weapons with an enhancement bonus, regardless of his level.
This ability replaces channel energy.
