Saving Throws
The paragon chooses two of Fortitude, Reflex, and Will. Their base saving throws for the two selected saves are equal to 2 + 1/2 the paragon’s level. The remaining saving throw has a base save equal to 1/3 the paragon’s level.
This alters the shifter’s saving throws.
Proficiencies
Paragons are proficient with simple weapons, as well as light armor and bucklers. In addition, if this is this character’s first level in any class, they may select a martial tradition of their choice.
This alters proficiencies.
Blended Training
A paragon gains a combat or magic talent at 1st level and every odd level thereafter. A paragon uses her casting ability modifier as her practitioner modifier.
This alters magic talents.
Unchanging Form (Ex)
At 1st level the paragon gains Eternal Transformation as a bonus feat. She may not take the Transformation or Hybrid Transformation feats, and if she already possesses them (or the Eternal Transformation feat from another source) she must immediately retrain them for no cost.
This replaces shapeshifter.
Advanced Utility (Ex)
At 1st level, the paragon gains a bonus language of their choice. The paragon gains a bonus utility talent at 5th level, plus an additional bonus utility talent at 11th and 15th levels.
This replaces wild empathy, steal language, boundless communication, and endless communication.
Self Improvement (Ex)
At 5th level the shifter gains Improved Transformation as a bonus feat, selecting additional traits as normal. She may also select one Alteration sphere talent; she does not actually possess this talent, but counts as possessing it for the purposes of what traits she can select with Improved Transformation. She selects an additional Alteration talent this way at levels 10, 15, and 20.
This replaces quick transformation, lingering transformation, extended transformation, and greater transformation.
Focused Improvement (Ex)
At 8th level, the paragon may choose between gaining immunity to poison or gaining an origin talent. If she chooses the origin talent, she does not gain immunity to disease at 12th level.
This alters immunity to poison and immunity to disease but can be replaced by archetypes which replace either of these class features.
Perfection (Ex)
At 20th level the paragon may select an additional three Alteration traits for her Eternal Transformation, she does not need to possess the talents for these traits and the traits gained from this ability may cost any amount of spell points.
This replaces second skin.
Paragon Bestial Traits
The following bestial traits are only available to paragons.
Additional Trait (requires shifter 12)
The paragon gains an additional Alteration trait for her Eternal Transformation. She may also select one Alteration sphere talent, she does not actually possess this talent, but counts as possessing it for the purposes of what traits she can select with Improved Transformation and this bestial trait.
Extra Origin Talent
The paragon gains Extra Origin Talent as a bonus feat. She may select this talent multiple times.
Monstrous Might (Ex) (requires shifter 6)
The paragon may select abilities which cost spell points for their Eternal Transformation feat, up to a maximum combined total across all abilities of 1 spell point. When she acquires this bestial trait she may immediately reselect one Alteration trait, or she may use this spell point to gain an increased effect from her base transformation, such as a chance to negate critical hits and precision damage from the Elemental Transformation talent.
This bestial trait may be taken once for every six paragon levels the paragon possesses, each time it is selected increase the total amount of spell points allowed by 1 and she may reselect an additional ability.
