The Peltmonger specializes in creating and modifying equipment which was once harvested from creatures.
Blended Training
Whenever a peltmonger would gain a combat talent from his class levels, he may instead choose to gain a skill talent. A peltmonger uses his practitioner modifier as his operative modifier.
This alters combat training.
Body Specialist
At 1st level, the peltmonger gains the Survivalism sphere as a bonus sphere, selecting the (harvest) package.
This replaces equipment specialist.
Precise Carving
At 1st level, the peltmonger gains sneak attack +1d6. This functions as the rogue sneak attack ability. If the peltmonger gets a sneak attack bonus from another source, the bonuses on damage stack. This sneak attack increases by 1d6 at 4th level and every 3 levels thereafter.
This replaces thunderous blows.

The peltmonger gains exclusive access to the following smithing insights.
Preferred Medium
The peltmonger gains the favored enemy class feature of a 1st-level ranger. This insight may be taken an additional time for every 6 blacksmith levels the peltmonger possesses. Each time, the peltmonger selects an additional favored enemy or increases his bonus against a selected favored enemy by 2.
Roguish Knack
The peltmonger gains a rogue talent of his choice, treating his blacksmith levels as rogue levels when determining the effects. This stacks with any rogue levels he possesses. Any selected rogue talent must affect the sneak attack class feature. He may select this insight multiple times, gaining a different rogue talent each time.
