Pact Magic Rings

Band of Augmentation

Aura moderate occult; BL 15th
Slot ring; Price 25,000 gp; Weight
Description
This ring is a jet-black band decorated with dozens of diamonds that form the fourteen occult constellations. Each band of augmentation is keyed to one specific pact augmentation available to a 3rd level pactmaker. While bound to a spirit that she has sealed a good pact with and wearing a band of augmentation, the wearer gains that pact augmentation, using her binder level as her pactmaker level. If the wearer already possesses the ring’s pact augmentation, then the wearer increases the bonus that she gains from the chosen augmentation by +1 or her pactmaker level by +4. The effects of a band of augmentation don’t stack; each must apply to a different pact augmentation.
Construction Requirements
Forge Ring, bolster binding, creator must have the chosen pact augmentation; Cost 12,500 gp.

Loops of Forced Requisition

Aura strong enchantment; CL 17th
Slot ring; Price 56,000 gp; Weight
Description
This set of matching rings are made of solid, white gold, one marked with the word “devotion” and the other “devotee.” The devotion ring has no effect on its wearer while worn, but the wearer of the “devotee ring” must succeed on a DC 18 Will save once per round or fall helplessly in love with the creature wearing the “devotion” band, as the one-target version of love spell†, and refuse to remove the “devotee ring” from her finger. If both rings are worn for three days, the effect becomes permanent and the magic within a set of loops of forced requisition is lost. If the creature wearing the “devotion” band is forced to remove her ring before three days have passed, the love spell effect immediately ends.
Construction Requirements
Forge Ring, love spell; Cost 28,000 gp.

Ring of Dancing Chains

Aura strong transmutation; CL 5th
Slot ring; Price 75,000 gp, Weight
Description
This platinum band possesses a thin indentation that cradles a thin, adamantine chain. Although held in place on the ring by the indentations, the chain itself isn’t directly connected to the ring and can be spun freely. As a move action, the ring’s wearer can spin the chain twice, causing it to dislodge from the ring and grow into a +1 dancing deadlyUE adamantine whip or return an active whip to the ring. If the wearer has the Quick Draw feat, she can activate or deactivate the whip as a free action instead and this whip can be further enhanced with a greater enhancement bonus or additional abilities like any melee weapon could be.
Construction Requirements
Forge Ring, chain of perdition, creator must have Craft Magical Arms and Armor; Cost 37,250 gp.

Ring of Reincarnation

Aura moderate transmutation; CL 10th
Slot ring; Price 42,000 gp; Weight
Description
This ring is crafted in a beautiful medley of yellow and white gold that forms a phoenix holding its tail within its beak. If the wearer of a ring of reincarnation dies, 1 minute following his death he automatically scheduled to reincarnate (as the spell) 1 day later as a Youth of his race. When this occurs, one of the ring’s two rubies (which are set as the phoenix’s eyes) immediately burst into a spark of flame. When both rubies are expended, the ring becomes a nonmagical item. A ring of reincarnation does not function if its wearer was slain by a death effect.
Construction Requirements
Forge Ring, reincarnate; Cost 41,000 gp.

Ring of the Secret Sect

Aura strong enchantment; CL 16th
Slot ring; Price 10,950 gp; Weight
Description
A ring of the secret sect is created with the insignia of a specific, often secret, organization engraved somewhere on the band, typically on the gemstone. The wearer of a ring of the secret sect receives a +5 competence bonus on Bluff checks as well as a +2 insight bonus on Will saves against effects that would force him to reveal the truth, such as discern lies. In addition, the wearer can press a ring of the secret sect onto another creature’s skin while speaking a command word to learn whether the creature belongs to the ring’s organization and the creature’s rank within that organization, if any.
Construction Requirements
Forge Ring, reveal heresy†; Cost 5,475 gp.
