Casting
The sphere psion may combine spheres and talents to create magical effects. The sphere psion is considered a High-Caster. (Note: All casters gain 2 bonus talents and a casting tradition the first time they gain the casting class feature.)
This replaces the powers and talents class features.
Spell Points
The sphere psion gains a small reservoir of energy he can call on to create truly wondrous effects, called a spell pool. This pool contains a number of spell points equal to his level + his casting ability modifier (minimum 1). This pool replenishes once per day after roughly 8 hours of rest.
Magic Talents
A sphere psion gains 3 magic talents every 2 levels. (2 at 1st level, 1 at 2nd level, 2 at 3rd level, 1 at 4th level, etc.)
Sphere Specialization
A sphere psion gains a sphere specialization of his choice from the list of sphere specializations included in the incanter class description. He treats his psion levels as incanter levels for this purpose.
This replaces discipline.
Bonus Feats
A sphere psion’s bonus feats may be spent to gain an extra magic talent, drawback, proxy, and theurge feats, or any feat which has casting as a prerequisite (item creation feats, metamagic feats, Sphere Focus, Circle Casting, etc.).
This modifies bonus feats.
Sphere Specialty
A sphere psion may choose to gain a single magic talent every level in place of gaining 3 magic talents every 2 levels. If they do, they gain an additional pool of spell points equal to their class level which can only be spent on effects from the sphere they chose with sphere specialization.
