While masterminds typically involve an expansive pool of allies and assets in their plans, squad operators excel at coordinating a small group of skilled and loyal agents in a variety of complex schemes.
Honed Coordination:
A squad operator must select the Communication skill sphere as the bonus sphere from overseer or must select a conspiracy which grants the Communication skill sphere.
This alters either overseer or conspiracy.
Smooth Operator (Ex)
A squad operator gains Communication Coach as a bonus Communication talent. They may share talents from other skill spheres besides the Communication sphere when using the Communication Coach approach. The talent shared is chosen when the rapport is formed.
At 7th level, the squad operator may use Communication Coach to share talents which they do not possess so long as at least one member of their rapport possesses the talent.
At 13th level, the squad operator may assume the Communication Coach approach or form a rapport as a free action and does not count this approach towards the maximum number of approaches they may assume at any given time.
This replaces schemer.
Endless Tricks (Ex)
At 20th level, whenever the squad operator regains skill leverage, they may exchange their feat gained from quick study for any other feat which they meet the prerequisites for. In addition, the squad operator can change the choice of talent granted with their Communication Coach approach as a free action once per turn.
This replaces always prepared.
Operator Tricks
The squad operator may select the following mastermind tricks in addition to normal mastermind tricks.
Compartmentalize (Ex)
Each member of your rapport may benefit from different talents rather than having all members benefit from the same talents. These talents are still decided when you adopt the Communication Coach approach.
Expanded Operation (Ex)
You may share an additional talent using Communication Coach. If you change which talent you shared, you can change them all simultaneously. You may select this trick once for every 6 mastermind levels you possess.
Planned Adaptation [plan] (Ex)
You may reveal a plan to change which talents have been selected with your Communication Coach approach.
