Surveyors specialize in analyzing environments rather than creatures, studying the field of battle and utilizing it to the utmost capacity.
Trade Tradition
If this is this character’s first level in any class, the surveyor may select a trade tradition of their choice, and have an adroit trade rank.
This replaces the scholar’s normal class skills.
Blended Training
Whenever a surveyor would gain a combat talent from her class levels, she may instead choose to gain a skill talent. A surveyor uses her operative modifier as her practitioner ability modifier.
This alters combat training.
Surveillance Specialty
At 1st level, the surveyor gains the Investigation and Navigation spheres as bonus talents.
This replaces problem solver.
Surveyor’s Edge
At 1st level, the surveyor gains the Study sphere as a bonus sphere and Speculative Analysis as a bonus feat. When using Speculative Analysis, the insight bonus and additional notions gained from the feat increase by 1 at 5th level and every 4 levels thereafter. This replaces basic medical training, advanced medical training, and expert medical training.
Field Preparation
At 2nd level, the surveyor gains Detailed Charting as a bonus feat.
Whenever the surveyor uses Detailed Charting, she can also use a material imposition that affects an area as part of the action spent to use Detailed Charting, extending the material imposition’s area to include both its normal area and the analyzed area.
Additionally, whenever the surveyor makes an attack against an analyzed target or within an analyzed area, she can expend martial focus to apply an [explosive] effect from a material imposition she possesses to the attack as if it were a flashbang.
At 5th level, the surveyor can use Detailed Charting as a move action instead of a standard action.
This replaces flashbangs.
Master Surveyor
At 20th level, the surveyor chooses any one material imposition she knows; the surveyor no longer needs to expend her martial focus for uses of this imposition, never provokes an attack of opportunity for activating it, and may activate it as a swift action. In addition, when using Detailed Charting, she may instead choose to use your pathing and treat all squares within as being analyzed.
This alters mastered imposition.
