Walking war engines, titans are mechanical tinkerers who replace parts of their own body to become a living weapon. Like architects they learn to master towers, but only as a way to augment their own physical form.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: The titan is proficient with all simple and martial weapons and with all armor (heavy, light, and medium) and shields (including tower shields).

Base Attack Bonus: A titan has the base attack bonus progression of a fighter (+20 at 20th level) rather than an architect (+15 at 20th level). In addition, a titan’s effective fighter levels for the purpose of taking combat feats is equal to his titan level -3.

Titanic Towers: When a titan creates a tower via his tower magic class feature he may only place it on his body. He may do this regardless of the tower’s resource requirement. However, he may only have 1 tower on his body at a time. This tower melds with him, becoming part of his increasingly mechanical form. A tower does not take up an equipment slot, though it may be sundered as if it were equipment. A titan cannot assume to have direct control over his tower. A deactivated tower is reabsorbed into their form.

A titan may sacrifice an attack as part of a full attack action to make an attack from one of his towers.

A titan’s towers cannot be detonated. A titan never learns the pillar tower schematic and cannot select the dragon tower at 20th level.

This modifies the tower magic class feature.

War Machine (Ex): As a titan progresses in level he becomes less of a man and more of a machine. He gains the following changes as he progresses in level:

  • 3rd Level: In addition to being able to be healed by normal means, a titan can be repaired in any fashion that would heal a construct, such as by spells like make whole or via the Craft Construct feat.
  • 6th Level: The titan gains DR 1/-. This improves by 1 at 9th level and every 3 levels thereafter to a maximum of DR 5/- at 18th level.
  • 9th Level: The titan becomes immune to all mind-affecting effects (charms, compulsions, morale effects, patterns, and phantasms), though he may allow himself to be affected if he so desires.
  • 12th Level: The titan becomes immune to to ability damage, ability drain, fatigue, exhaustion, energy drain, or nonlethal damage.
  • 15th Level: The titan becomes immune to bleed, disease, death effects, necromancy effects, paralysis, poison, sleep effects, and stunning.
  • 18th Level: The titan becomes immune any effect that requires a Fortitude save (unless the effect also works on objects, or is harmless).

This ability replaces eye for detail.

Titan Modifications: At 2nd levels and every even level thereafter a titan gains a bio-mechanical modification from the list below.

  • Combat Feat: The titan may select a combat feat he qualifies for in place of a titan modification.
  • Empowered Weapons Platform: The titan’s mobile weapons platform gains an enhancement bonus based on the titan’s level:: 1st level (+1), 4th level (+2), 8th level (+3), 12th level (+4), 16th level (+5). A titan must have the improved weapons modification before selecting this modification.
  • Gunbot: A titan becomes proficient with all simple and martial firearms. In addition, a titan with the morphable weapon modification may morph his hands into one-handed firearms, though they begin unloaded.
  • Improved Weapons: The titan’s mobile weapons platform becomes masterwork.
  • Morphable Weapon: As a swift action a titan can morph one of their hands into any light or one-handed melee weapon or shield (excluding tower shields) they are proficient in the use of. These weapons aren’t made of any special materials. A titan can morph an already morphed hand either back to its original form or to a different form as a swift action.
  • Morphable Weapons, Improved: When producing a morphable weapon the weapon is a masterwork weapon and may be made out of one of the following special materials: adamantine, cold iron, darkwood, or mithral. A titan must have the morphable weapon titan modification and be at least 8th level to select this titan modification.
  • Retractable Armor: The titan may merge any armor they are wearing into their form. As an immediate action a titan may merge it into his form, unequipping it from him, but allows it to be re-equipped as an immediate action.
  • Spiked Husk: The titan modifies his form to include retractable spiked protrusions. The titan always counts as if he is wearing armor spikes. If he equips armor without armor spikes, that armor automatically gains armor spikes. He may retract his armor spikes as a swift action.
  • Stabilizers: The titan gains a +4 circumstance bonus to its CMD against bull rush, drag, grapple, overrun, reposition, and trip attempts.
  • Targeting System: The titan gains a +2 bonus on damage rolls with firearms. The titan must have the gunbot modification to select this modification.
  • Upgraded Weapons Platform: Select one one-handed or two-handed firearm with a technology level appropriate to the game’s setting (early or advanced). This is now the conjured weapon on your mobile weapons platform. The titan must have the gunbot modification before selecting this modification.

This ability replaces architect talents.

Improved Titanic Tower: At 5th level, any tower a titan places on him is improved.

This ability replaces improved tower.

2nd Weapon’s Mount: At 7th level, a titan may place up to 2 towers on their form at a given time.

This ability replaces terraforming.

Titan (Ex): At 11th level, a titan becomes large sized if they were smaller than large sized.

This ability replaces efficient construction.

3rd Weapon’s Mount: At 17th level, a titan may place up to 3 towers on their form a given time.

This ability replaces improved terraforming.
