Trade Tradition
If this is this character’s first level in any class, the toilbrook can select a trade tradition of her choice, and has an adroit trade rank.
This replaces the witch’s normal class skills.
Blended Training
The toilbrook gains 1/2 of a combat or skill talent every time she gains a class level. Toilbrooks use their operative ability modifier as their practitioner ability modifier.
This replaces the hexes gained at 2nd, 6th, 10th, 14th, and 18th level.
Apothecary
At 1st level, the toilbrook gains the Alchemy and Herbalism spheres as bonus spheres. At 5th level and every four witch levels thereafter, the toilbrook gains a bonus talent from either sphere of her choice.
Bonded Cauldron
At 1st level, the toilbrook gains the cauldron hex and begins play with a cauldron at no cost, referred to as her “bonded cauldron”. This functions as a bonded object (as a wizard of equivalent level), excluding the normal benefits of such an object. Instead, a bonded cauldron functions as an alchemy lab, and can be changed to the size of a small talisman, necklace, or similar object by touching it as a swift action (and vice versa).
Once per day, the toilbrook can spend 1 minute with her bonded cauldron experimenting with her reagents to change any number of talents gained from her apothecary ability to a different Alchemy or Herbalism sphere talent of her choice.
At 4th level, the toilbrook’s bonded cauldron functions as a cauldron of brewing (Ultimate Equipment). The bonus granted by the cauldron of brewing applies to any checks made for the Alchemy or Herbalism spheres, and stacks with the bonus the bonded cauldron grants as an alchemy lab.
At 11th level, the toilbrook’s bonded cauldron functions as a cauldron of plenty (Ultimate Equipment).
This replaces patron spells.
Special: You can take the sphere witch archetype alongside the toilbrook archetype by replacing the sphere witch’s patron magic class feature.
Shared Biology (Su)
The toilbrook cannot use her familiar to share spells or deliver touch spells for her. Instead, whenever the toilbrook consumes a food or drink (or is otherwise subject to similar effects reliant on the body, such as being inhaled or applied through the skin, up to GMs discretion) and the familiar is within the toilbrook’s natural reach, she can choose to have her familiar also be affected by the effect or have her familiar be subject to its effects instead. This also applies to magical and alchemical consumables, such as Alchemy formulae and Herbalism concoctions.
At 3rd level, whenever the toilbrook’s familiar is subject to such an effect delivered this way, it can decide to harmlessly store it within itself–if the effect required a saving throw (such as if it were a poison), the familiar must have succeeded its most recent saving throw against the effect to store it. The familiar can only store one such effect at a time. The familiar can deliver the stored effect as a standard action, requiring a successful melee touch attack if the creature is unwilling.
This alters witch’s familiar, and is treated as removing the share spells and deliver touch spells abilities from the familiar.
