Wildspeakers focus less on their party of allies and more on their reliable companion. With this focus, they are able to take on aspects of the world around them, but still remain brilliant guides in nature and deadly hunters.
Proficiencies
The wildspeaker is proficient with simple weapons, as well as light armor and bucklers. In addition, if this is the character's first level in any class, the wildspeaker may select a martial tradition of their choice.
This alters weapon and armor proficiencies.
Blended Training
Whenever a wildspeaker would gain a skill talent from their class levels, they may instead choose to gain a combat talent. A wildspeaker uses their operative modifier as their practitioner ability modifier. [Utility] talents cannot be used to gain combat talents unless they have the [utility] tag (which can be introduced using the variant rule).
This alters skill expertise.
Caretaker
The wildspeaker gains the Herbalism skill sphere and the Beastmastery combat sphere as bonus spheres at 1st level. The wildspeaker must choose the (handle animal) package for the Beastmastery sphere.
This replaces survivalist.
Adapt Companion (Ex)
The wildspeaker thrives within nature with their ability to connect with the surrounding fauna with surprising ease. At 1st level, the wildspeaker gains the animal focus class feature of the hunter class (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game: Advanced Class Guide), treating their courser levels as their hunter level when determining its effects. The wildspeaker can grant an animal focus to any of their animal allies.
At 10th level, the wildspeaker gains the second animal focus feature of the hunter class.
At 20th level, once per day, the wildspeaker can choose one animal focus to be active on themself for the entire day. The benefits of this animal focus stacks with any preexisting animal focuses they are benefiting from.
This replaces fast movement.
Tandem Assault (Ex)
At 4th level, whenever the wildspeaker uses their harrying assault ability, one of their animal allies may also attack the same target with a single natural weapon it possesses as a joint swift action. If both the wildspeaker and the animal ally successfully deal damage with these attacks, the damaged creature suffers a -2 penalty to their saving throw against the harrying assault.
This alters harrying assault.
Close Companionship (Ex)
At 7th level, once per day the wildspeaker can choose a single animal ally as part of granting their forage benefits to them. The chosen animal ally gains the wildspeaker’s fast movement and relentless class features, using the wildspeaker’s class level when determining its effects. These benefits last for 1 day or until the wildspeaker chooses a different animal ally to grant these benefits to, whichever comes first.
At 11th level, the chosen animal ally gains the wildspeaker’s stalwart ability; at 15th level the unyielding ability, and at 19th level the incredible vitality ability.
This replaces resourceful foraging.
